After Effects (Exerpt)

July 2010

Still living with the terrible consequences of such violence, Mark chose to make a positive difference in the lives of our younger generation by writing, producing and directing After Effects; an anti violence film. Aimed squarely at teenagers surrounded by or seduced into the perceived glamour of society’s negative life-styles, After Effects shows what really happens when violence escalates beyond the video-game realm and spills into the physical realities of murder, leaving broken loved ones to cope as best they can with the after effects of overwhelming heartbreak, desolation and fear. The life-long jail sentence being served not only by the perpetrator, but also those left behind – on both sides.
